Covid-19 Following Government guidelines on social distancing and how to protect students and tutors, there have been new measures put in place in the studio for everyone's safety. These measures are stated below. If you have any concerns please contact me.
Class sizes will be reduced to 2 to allow for social distancing, unless everyone is from the same household.
Each student will have their own tools and equipment, there will be no sharing.
There will be a screen dividing the table to keep students safe.
There will be hand sanitiser available for each student.
Each student will be given the opportunity to torch fire one piece of jewellery.
The studio will be cleaned prior to a workshop.
Weather permitting, doors and windows can be opened to allow for good ventilation.
Movement around the studio will be limited to comply with social distancing.
The toilet will be cleaned and disinfected regularly.
Paper towels will be provided and disposed of at the end of the day.
Classes will not be run on consecutive days, to allow time to clean and sanitise the studio and tools etc.
A disposable bin bag will be supplied for each student which will be disposed of at the end of the workshop.
Everything you need will be provided at your work area so no need to share or move around unecessarily.
Hand washing facilities will be available to use throughout the day as needed.
Students will be met at the gate which will be opened for them.
Please bring a face mask with you.
Students will be asked to wash their hands when they arrive. If you want to bring your own cup for tea/coffee, please do, though there will still be cups available. There will also be face masks, in case you forget to bring your own
I am looking forward to welcoming you back to the studio. I hope the measures I have put in place will give you enough confidence to book a workshop. As I said, if you have any concerns or questions, please get in touch.
Help control the virus. To protect yourself and others, when you leave home you must:
wash hands - keep washing your hands regularly
cover face - wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
make space - stay at least a metre away from people not in your household
If you are feeling unwell, get a test and do not leave home for at least 10 day.
